I'm having another hair crisis!!! Last October I colored my hair back to a brunette/auburn look. Now Biggy B wants me to go back blonde. I'm looking for some opinions. Blonde definately takes more maintenance, but brunette shows the grey faster!!

Hmmm, I have the opposite dilemna. I've gone dark and want to go blonde but Hubby hates my blonde hair! I used to change colours like I changed my underwear but I would always end up platinum again. It's been years though (hmmm, same amount of years I've been with Hubby!).
In my humble opinion (since you asked!), I really like the dark hair on you. I think you look younger and warmer. Nothing wrong with the blond, but from those two pics I think I would go with the darker.
Good luck with the decision! The good thing is, Miss Clairol is only a trip to the store away, if you hate it, you can change it. :)
Cancuncanuck....Thank you for you opinion. I think I just need to go in for a touch up.
I'm on a big exercise kick right now, trying to lose 25 pounds before this winter. Mostly doing power walking and watching what I eat.
I'll let you know how I, my hair ends up!!
Can definitely relate to that dilemma! My natural color is kind of a dark mousy brown which I've had highlighted in lighter colors for years now. About six months ago, I had this bright idea to dye it a darker brown myself. I hated it. I thought I'd get used to it, but I never did. And people were nice, but I could tell no one else was crazy about it, either. So just before I left for Isla last May, I had the highlights done again...and feel like I'm back to normal. So that's an option you might consider. Instead of going back to a full blonde, think of lighter highlights with your brown...and it does wonders with hiding the gray...and you get the best of both worlds!
Having seen you several times in person with both colors I have to say that I like the dark look better. Like Deb said I think some lighter highlights especially around your face would be nice.
Are we going to get into trouble if we vote wrong? Boldly stepping forward, I say brunette. It makes you look like a warmer, more approachable person and definitely a tad younger. So what if a few gray strands shine through. You've earned them Babe and flaunt it if you've got it!
Brunette! You look so beautiful and heck, I'm 66 and have NO gray - isn't that a miracle?
Thanks everyone for your opinions! Brunette it is, with a few highlights. I don't know why the grey bothers me so much, but it seems to come through quickly right around my forehead, which when pulled back in a pony tail, shows even more.
I guess Biggy B will have to stay with the Brunette.
I agree dark is better. I do lots of low lights and some high lights which gives some variety.
